Canogar Room

Standing collection in Cuenca

Since 29 March 2022, the Antonio Pérez Foundation has featured a standing space dedicated to Rafael Canogar, the last living member of the Grupo el Paso and one of the most important artists in the domestic and international scenario.

The room features eleven original works dating from 2005 to 2012, thanks to a loan by the artist to the FAP, which the artist himself refers to as follows:

I want to rescue the space of painting, recover its poetic and metaphoric dimension, its capacity to make us dream, fall in love, vibrate once again with the space of painting, good painting and its communication capacity.
